Outdoors with clothes
In the outdoor area of the sauna, we kindly ask you to always wear a swimsuit. Failure to comply may result in the withdrawal of our approval. In the indoor area, you are naturally allowed to be naked. We only ask you to sit on a towel.
Clean feet, clean sauna
Before entering the sauna, please clean your shoes or feet to keep the sauna as clean as possible.
Showers in the outdoor area
Showering before each sauna visit is mandatory. The public cold-water shower is available for you. If the shower is not in operation, we kindly ask you to shower at home beforehand.
Protect the bench and your bottom
Always use a towel to sit, lie down, or place your feet on in the sauna. Whether naked or in a swimsuit is up to you.
Get ready for heat and “Löyly”
The heat of the sauna is regulated and always ranges between 75° to 95 °C. For the infusion (called “Löyly” in Finnish), only use spray water.
Drink enough water
In a sauna, sweating cannot be avoided. So remember to drink enough water.
Take a break
It is important to take regular breaks to cool down. Cooling down and swimming in the lake/river is at your own risk; any liability is declined.
Vapor instead of smoke
There is a strict smoking ban inside the sauna. Please use the outdoor area for smoking.
Keep it clean
Please leave the sauna in a clean condition. Give the floor a quick “wipe” with the provided mops and take your trash with you. This way, we can continue to offer the sauna at fair prices in the future.
Zero tolerance
Our credo: Zero tolerance towards sexism, racism, and any other form of discrimination. If you felt uncomfortable for any reason, please contact us immediately via email: info@loyly.ch
Have fun saunaing in the LÖYLY sauna!
