Environment
Our saunas are made from sustainable wood and crafted by trusted producers in Switzerland, Finland, and Poland. We collaborate with Lapelland Finland Oy and Scandinavian Sauna ApS. The saunas are heated with renewable energy from the site partner whenever possible. Where this is not possible, we acquire green energy certificates for a 100% renewable energy mix in all our saunas.
Future
For the winter season 24/25, we will use smart sauna stoves that regulate their heating power according to bookings and use exclusively biodegradable cleaning agents. Additionally, we would like to evaluate our suppliers more precisely through an ESG survey and select new suppliers based on these criteria.
Social
Our saunas provide great health benefits, such as a lower risk of vascular diseases, better well-being, and higher performance.
With fair prices ranging from CHF 30-60 per hour and accessible installations, we appeal to a broad population. We support initiatives such as student ski races, the National Action Day for Alcohol Problems, and a Swiss NGO for refugee rights.
Future
We would like to further expand our main value creation and additionally offer various other services besides sauna use, such as cold swimming workshops, which are intended to positively influence the health of our customers. In addition, we aim to achieve a greater heterogeneity of the workforce in order to increase diversity.
Governance
We work with partners who pursue exemplary climate and energy policies to achieve common sustainability goals. Through needs assessment, we tailor our offerings individually and strengthen commitment to a sustainable future. Long-term impact is important to us, which is why we enter into binding contracts that require an environmental impact assessment.
Future
With an advisory board, we want to better position ourselves in the future with external know-how in sustainability and product development.
